Nose

Nice bright nose, with some citrus zest and vanilla, a little bit of crayon.

Palate

Initially quite toasty with a touch of smoke, some lemon cake, golden syrup, and a bit of spice from wood tannin.

Finish

Medium length with more of that oak tannin filtering through.

Comment

A well rounded whisky that coats the mouth, with quite a punchy follow-through on the palate.
